Dr. Joseph Muscente is a graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in 1994. After completing Optometry school, Dr. Muscente completed a Residency in Hospital Based Optometry / Ocular Disease at the FDR VA Hospital in Montrose, MY.

Dr. Muscente then became a clinial instructor at the SUNY College of Optometry and a staff optometrist at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center / St. Albans VA.

Dr. Muscente is now an attending doctor at the Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, Dept. of Ophthamology. There, he works closely with ophthamologists, residents and students providiing comprehensive medical eyecare to all patients.
